Sam is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. Born and raised in Dubuque, Sam is a Wahlert High School graduate and obtained a bachelor degree majoring in Accounting, Finance, and Marketing at Loras College. Sam started at O’Connor Brooks & Co., P.C. in 2015 and became the newest principal of the firm in 2020.
Specializing in accounting and auditing services including performing audit, review and compilations, Sam enjoys working with a variety of businesses, not for profit organizations and governmental entities. In addition, Sam has years of experience providing income tax services to a broad client base of individuals and businesses. Sam is actively involved in the profession as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Iowa Society of CPAs.
Sam resides in Dubuque with his wife Trisha, who is a registered nurse at a local hospital.
