Jim is a partner of O’Connor, Brooks & Co., P.C. He has been with the firm for over 30 years. Jim specializes In delivering accounting and tax services to individual and closely-held business clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail trades, and construction as well as audit services for not-for-profits and governmental entities.
With an emphasis in the area of tax services, Jim ensures proper tax return preparation procedures are followed. Jim also performs audits of several not-for-profits and governmental entitles, ensuring proper accounting and audit services are followed and that financial reports produced for our clients are of the highest quality. He invests in ongoing education to stay current on tax and audit developments.
Actively involved in his community and profession, Jim ls a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and Iowa Society of CPA’s. He has served as a director for St. Stephens Food Bank.
Jim and his wife, Natalie reside In Dubuque. Natalie is an educator with the Dubuque Community Schools. In their leisure time, they enjoy traveling and time outdoors.
