Steve is the president and managing partner of O’Connor, Brooks & Co., P.C. He has been with the firm for over 35 years. Steve specializes in delivery accounting and tax services to individual and closely-held business clients in a variety of industries including agriculture, professional services, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trades.
With an emphasis on providing service to closely-held business clients, Steve works closely with the firm’s client services team to provide outsourced payroll and bookkeeping services.
Actively involved in his community and profession, Steve is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Iowa Society of CPA’s. He has served as an officer, director and member of various community groups including the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, Mercy Hospital-Dubuque board of trustees, Dubuque Rotary Club, Asbury Athletic Association and his church.
Steve and his wife, Janet, reside in Dubuque. Janet is an educator with the Dubuque Community Schools. In their leisure time, they enjoy traveling and bicycling.
